The Mary Ann Evans Community Services Team’s main aim is to support patients, and their families, throughout their illness so that they have the best possible quality of life, relief from symptoms, and flexible choices about where they are cared for.

Our specialist practitioners offer a variety of treatments with the ultimate aim of reducing and then keeping swelling to a minimum.

Treatments are delivered in partnership with our patients who are empowered with knowledge and understanding of their condition to enable them to move confidently towards self-management.
Virtual Solutions
Our service has developed to incorporate virtual consultations and an advisory telephone support service which is available Mon – Friday.

Our services
The Mary Ann Evans Hospice offers a warm and welcoming home from home environment and was established to enhance the quality of life to people who have a secondary life limiting illness, such as Cancer, Heart Failure and Motor Neurone Disease.
Care and support is offered to our patients and their families/carers of all cultures and faiths, what ever their needs:- physical, emotional, psychological, social or spiritual.
