Another edition of our Christmas Market has come and gone. Spreading festive cheer throughout the Mary Ann buildings. It was a wonderful edition of our Christmas Market and we’d like to say a massive thank you to everyone involved, staff, volunteers and our local community. It means a great deal to us that we could be so widely supported by everyone within our local community.

Unlike last year’s event, which was both Market and Santa Dash, we moved back to beloved solo format. Next year in February we’ll be bringing you the Frosty 5K, so watch out for that! We had craft stalls all over, tombolas, hot food, cake and drinks as well as Santa’s Grotto! The children were very happy to have their photos taken with Santa!

The turnout was great and there was a constant bustle across both buildings. The atmosphere was warm and festive. As well as the refreshment list! We enjoyed the company of some of our Trustees and Patrons, who were very happy with the event.

As well as the array of wonderful crafts to buy. There was entertainment to warm the souls on a grey day. As we had performances from The Belles of Three Spires Choir, who dazzled us with wonderful renditions of holiday classics but with a smattering of pop classics. They were followed by the exceptional Kristen Sweet, who gave a fantastic virtuoso performance. She belted out her flawless power ballads to admiring onlookers.

Overall we raised £4,285 for #YourLocalHospice. We couldn’t be more delighted with your efforts or your support. So thank you to all of you who came and we look forward to seeing you at future Mary Ann events!
