Cromdale Close Christmas Lights

Roy and Denise Davenport have once again outdone themselves in support of Mary Ann, by decorating their house in a lavish Christmas display to help raise funds for the hospice.

For the past few years, the Davenports have spent every festive season decorating their home and fundraising for us here at Mary Ann, and this year was no exception. Bringing back the Cromdale Close Christmas Lights to the local community.

On Thursday 1st December Cromdale Close was filled with festive cheer, excited families and smiling children who stood in anticipation for Roy to switch on his now famous light display.

Never failing to put on a show-stopping display. Roy wowed the crowd with lights and firework display. Followed by a Snowman and elf, entertaining the children, and handing out chocolates! The festive fun wasn’t limited to the outside, as Roy also built Santa’s Grotto for families to visit!

Roy and Denise didn’t do all this just to spread some festive cheer but also to help support Mary Ann. As they collected donations throughout December from those who came to see the lights and Grotto. This year they have raised over £600 in much needed fundraising for us here at Mary Ann.

We want to say a huge THANK YOU to both Roy and Denise for all their support and hard work.

The weeks spent getting their Cromdale Close Christmas Lights display set up!

The festive cheer they bring to the community!

The fundraising they do for charity!

Thank you!
