Every Friday we’re looking to give something back and show what we are grateful for this week! We know that charities don’t run on rainbows and sunshine. So we often have to ask for your help, whether that is supporting one of our fantastic campaigns or even sharing a little of your precious time to help us out.
To say thank you to everyone, big or small, we want to show you we truly are grateful for everything you do for us. So here are our big thank-you’s this week.
Thank You Festival
Last Sunday our staff were treated to a Thank You Festival. This was the senior leadership and board of trustees way to say thank you for all of Team Mary Ann’s efforts throughout the pandemic. It has been a difficult time for all, but the team has really pulled together as one to make sure that our services have still been offered to the expected Mary Ann standard. It was a lovely day for all staff and their families. One team member described it as ‘the party of the century’. We were grateful to our board and leadership team for this aknowledgement of our collective hard work. Long may the team continue to go above and beyond for those most in need.
Fabulous Flower Arranging
A huge thank you to Vina and Jean from the Flower Guild and Our Lady of The Angels Church. They came in to do some flower arranging with our lovely Living Well group! Here are some photos of what happened.
Corporate Thank Yous
A huge thank you to AR Cartwright for making us their charity of the year. Their continued alliance with Mary Ann gives us the platform across the community and the country to show the great work that we do for all in northern Warwickshire.
Want to have more meaning in your life? Do you want to do something that is satisfying and of great service to your community? Then become a Hospice Driver!
We’re also looking for any budding or seasoned gardeners. We need some TLC in our garden to make it ship shape for our patients.
