On Friday the 29th of November, Your Local Hospice had the pleasure of welcoming you to Coventry Cathedral. Our annual Light Up A Life remembrance service was made all the more special by your attendance. The service was lovely and the setting was stunning.

It was particularly moving when the people in attendance were invited to place their Memory Baubles on to our Remembrance Tree. The Memory Baubles have been wonderfully received across this year’s campaign. We are so very grateful to all who have supported us with this throughout.

The day started splendidly and  various dignitaries and members of our board of trustees joined us for the service. Teams of staff and volunteers were on hand to make sure that our supporters were well taken care of.

The Revd Canon Kathryn Fleming assisted by The Revd Canon Edward Pogmore lead the service. It was both poignant and reflective. The Bluecoat Sixth Form Choir and organist Alastair Stone performed wonderfully and complemented the nature of the service perfectly.

We were delighted with how the service went. That so many of you attended was lovely and we are already planning for next years service at the Cathedral. So take this as an invite to Light Up A Life 2020, and please take a look at our photos from such a charming day.
