Create a Tribute
Losing someone is one of the hardest things anyone has to face, but finding a lasting way to remember them can be a great comfort. Mary Ann Evans Hospice Memory Fund set up in your loved one’s memory is a positive, simple and wonderful way to honour, remember and celebrate their life whilst making a real difference to the lives of others.
How your fund helps
The contribution you make through your Fund will help raise the £1.7 million the Mary Ann Evans Hospice needs every year to support patients, who have a life-limiting illness, and their families. Please help us to provide care and support when it matters most.
Your Memory Fund can provide you, family, friends and colleagues with a way of sharing thoughts, feelings and memories of a loved one. As your own special tribute this online page can become a place of comfort to visit any time to help you remember and reflect. You can do many things including posting stories, favourite pictures and memories, or lighting a candle.
Thank you for considering us at this difficult time and donating in such a special way.
How will my Tribute Page grow?
Once you have created your Tribute Page, you can add to it as often as you wish. There are no minimum donations or targets – it is entirely up to you. For example:
- mark a special occasion such as a birthday, anniversary or Christmas
- set up a regular donation or standing order
- fundraise by taking part in sponsored events or by participating in other challenge events
- some people may prefer to organise coffee mornings or other events with family and friends.
How will you help me manage my Tribute Page?
Once a Tribute Page has been created, Mary Ann Evans Hospice will send you confirmation and will always be on hand to offer support and encouragement and suggest fundraising ideas.
Can I set up a Tribute Page in memory of someone who was not cared for by the Hospice?
Yes of course. Anyone can set up a Tribute Page in memory of a loved one and all funds raised will go towards the work of the Hospice.
