We are delighted to announce that Mayor and Mayoress of Nuneaton and Bedworth for 2017/2018 Bill and Sheila Hancox have raised a huge £33,000 for the Lymphoedema clinic at The Mary Ann Evans Hospice.  Bill, Sheila and their team of volunteers worked tirelessly throughout the year holding special events, tombolas and raffles to raise this impressive sum.


The Lymphoedema clinic is close to Bill and Sheila’s hearts following Sheila’s diagnosis of breast cancer, after treatment she developed Lymphoedema resulting in her using the services of Mary Ann’s Lymphoedema clinic.  Sheila reports receiving the service has been life changing and has improved her quality of life substantially.


The money has been used to purchase equipment using innovative technologies to provide more effective treatments for our patients and already manu of our patients have benefitted from this amazing donation.


The Mary Ann Evans Hospice provides vital end of life home based nursing, day hospice care, bereavement support and Lymphoedema management.  We cover Nuneaton, Bedworth, Northern Warwickshire and surrounding areas including Kingsbury, Warton, Dordon, Grendon, and Newton Regis. Our services include Day Hospice, Hospice at Home, Bereavement Support and our Lymphoedema Clinic.
