Nuneaton’s first 24-hour gym will be holding their launch party on the 2nd & 3rd of November with one of the most fitting events. PureGym Nuneaton, which opened in the Ropewalk shopping centre on 19th October, will be taking on the Twin Towns challenge with the help of the local community. Nuneaton is twinned with Roanne in France & the team at PureGym are looking for help to go the distance by running, cycling & rowing the 638 miles in store.

Not only are the team kicking off with this fantastic launch challenge, but they are also raising money for local good cause, the Mary Ann Evans Hospice.

Liberty Selvester Webb, General Manager of PureGym Nuneaton, said:

“We cannot wait to get started on our fundraising for the Mary Ann Evans Hospice at our 24 Hour Nuneaton PureGym Charity Challenge on November 2nd.

The inspiring work of the Mary Ann Evans Hospice will encourage us to pedal faster and get our sweat on, as the money we raise is for such a wonderful cause. Myself and the team of personal trainers will be on hand to cheerlead the community & we’re hoping that everyone from the local rugby team to the fire service and shop workers in the centre will sign up.

We still have slots available and welcome residents of Nuneaton and beyond to put their trainers on and get involved. Sign up for your slot at:

Nuneaton and Bedworth’s Mayor, Councillor Bill Hancox, and his wife, the Mayoress, Sheila, will be attending the official 24 hour launch party, with invites sent out to several local sporting & media stars.

Julie Cox, Director of Operations at the Mary Ann Evans Hospice said:

“We are looking forward to working with PureGym & have got some of our staff signed up already to give it a go! We would like to thank Liberty & her team for supporting us with such an epic challenge & for thinking of supporting their local Hospice.

To donate please visit PureGym’s justgiving page: & we hope to see you there from Thursday 2nd of November!”
