Expansion of Vital Clinical Service across Northern Warwickshire

Nuneaton, Thursday 19th March 2020

Time of Crisis

As the country tries to get to grips with the Coronavirus pandemic, we at Mary Ann Evans Hospice and South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust (SWFT) have expanded our Rapid Response End of Life Care Service. The service will now be available day and night across all of northern Warwickshire. Now providing all of Northern Warwickshire with twenty-four hour end of life community care.

Stepping Up

Both Mary Ann and SWFT feel that in this time of crisis the only option that is available is to  do our utmost together to provide essential levels of care to all of the most vulnerable across all of Northern Warwickshire. We will be stepping up our joint operation immediately to try to ensure that those living with life-limiting illnesses will not be affected at this crucial time.

We need funding

As our normal fundraising operations have slowed owing to the outbreak, we desperately need funds to be able to improve our operations. We have begun a campaign on Justgiving to be able to raise the sum of £250,000 to be able to allow our services to deliver what is required of them across these unprecedented and extremely trying times.

Help Your Local Hospice

It is not just in a financial sense that we need help, even if that is the most pressing, we are running short on supplies of; nitrate disposable gloves (all sizes), disposable aprons, and face masks. Alongside this if you are at home and of a creative nature, we need craft items to sell at our annual summer garden party to help raise funds for all of our services please.
