John Parnell, who is commonly known as Hoop Guy, impressed the Britain’s got Talent judges with his hoop skills and catchy song. John has been a long-time supporter of the Mary Ann Evans Hospice and now, as one of Nuneaton’s biggest entertainers, he will be joining the Hospice for their Garden Party once again, to perform and teach you how to hoop! Although we all know him as Hoop Guy, his skills don’t just stop with the hoop, John is also a talented stilt walker, balloon modeller, juggler and unicycler!
Taking place on Saturday 24th June, 11:30am-3:30pm, It will feature everything from stalls, raffles, face painting, Morton’s Vintage Ice Cream and various entertainment including the Nuneaton Ukulele Jam Band, Alana Shirley Academy and Midlands Tai Chi Ch’uan.
Jessica Atkinson, fundraiser at the Hospice said “The Garden Party is always popular, it is a family friendly event attended by the local community, Hospice staff, patients and volunteers. There is always a wonderful, relaxed atmosphere and is a fantastic opportunity for people to come and visit the Hospice and our beautiful Hospice gardens for a truly enjoyable occasion.
Entry is free but a donation is always welcome, so come and join us in our ongoing fundraising challenge to support patients, their families and carers needing local Hospice care.”
