Redbrain FC compete at the Business Fives

Redbrain FC made their debut at the Business Fives charity football tournament, in support of Mary Ann Evans Hospice.

Redbrain entered into the Business Fives charity football tournament held at Powerleague Aston on Tuesday 14th February, in support of Mary Ann Evans Hospice.

Unfortunately they didn’t win (they were knocked out by the eventual winners in the Quarter Finals), but very generously, their co-founder pledged to support them with £100 for each goal scored.
They scored an incredible 14 goals in the tournament, however Redbrain and their employees have boosted their donation to £2,000!

Josh Spencer, James Gibson, Thierry Langlois, Callum MacPherson, Will Viles & Tom Wilmott.

We spoke with Will Viles from Redbrain who kindly said:

“Following the loss of my father, Robert, in the pandemic, both my mother and I have received amazing support from Mary Ann Evans’ Family Support and Bereavement team. The weekly Zoom calls during the months following Dad’s passing and the group sessions, which I attended up to 18 months following my loss, helped me greatly with a very complex grieving process and I will forever be thankful. When you’re traumatised by the loss of such an important person and trying to remain calm and composed for the rest of your family, being able to speak regularly to a kind, compassionate person makes an incredible difference.”

Thank you to the team at Redbrain for all of their fundraising efforts, we couldn’t do it without you.
