Hannah’s Sky Dive

Our Day Services Team Lead, Hannah, sat down with us to talk all about her Sky Dive and her experience fundraising for Mary Ann.

Last year our Day Services Team Lead, Hannah, decided to take on a Sky Dive for Mary Ann. Hannah had always wanted to give something back to Mary Ann. She joins a rich tradition of staff who have fundraised for the Hospice. WE managed to grab Hannah from her busy schedule and have a chat about her sky dive.

What did you do?

I decided to do a Sky Dive to help raise money for Mary Ann.

What did you do to raise money?

A lot of social media appeals both through Mary Ann and personally. I shared my JustGiving link on local Facebook groups and had posters put up around the hospice to let patients, staff and volunteers know.

Why fundraise for Mary Ann?

Mary Ann does amazing work providing end of life care and bereavement support for patients and their families across Nuneaton, Bedworth and North Warwickshire. As a nurse, I see first hand the differences we can make to the lives of people locally.
Every penny raised helps us continue to give the best possible care.

Would you do it again?

100%! The experience was amazing and all for a great cause!
